Collected canned foods for the Open Door Food Pantry in Union Lake. He collected over 1,500 pounds of food items.

Designed, built and installed bat houses around Proud Lake Recreation area and Powers Park.

Built a storage shed, did landscaping, and donated money for the Milford Skills Center for Challenged kids.

Designed and built 2 fire pits, 2 firewood holders and 11 movable benches for the kids and visitors at the Leslie Science and Nature Center in Ann Arbor.

Collected personal hygiene items, games, books, food, snacks, etc and mailed 64 large boxes with the help of a local business who sponsored the shipping costs. These items were for a Michigan unit serving in Kuwait and for Iraqi children.

Cleaned up the main local pond at Our Lady Of Refuge In Orchard Lake. Planted additional natural grasses and plants to enhance the asthetics of the pond and natural surroundings. Installed bubbler to oxygenate the water and reduce scum build up.

Removed a broken concrete patio and re-landscaped an area around the rectory at Our Lady of Refuge.

Conducted a blood drive that collected 47 pints of blood and collected desperately needed personal items as well as some luxury items for the Troops and shipped 12 large boxes to the Persian Gulf.

Designed and built 2 flower boxes with handicapped access at two senior assisted living homes for residents to work as a group to plant flowers.

Cleaned out area and laid paving bricks to make a patio with wheelchair accessible table and benches for the adult learning center in Milford.

Raised the funds to purchase back to school supplies for kids. He supplied the Open Door Outreach center with a total of 128 notebooks, 60 packages of glue sticks, 720 single subject notebooks, 1200 pocket folders, and 256 reams of paper, plus a check for $1,263.00 that was used to purchase backpacks.

Removed side walk and landscaped entrance area at Our Lady of Refuge Church.

Conducted a canned food drive for the Open Door Outreach Center and Food Pantry, collecting over 1 ton of supplies to help the local community.

Designed and constructed two clothes donation drop off bins for the Open Door Outreach Center to support the local community.

Built robust replacement shelves for the Open Door Outreach Center and Food pantry, and provided them with an additional check to purchase more supplies.

Identified and labeled the drainage grates on local community streets to prevent contamination of the local water supply / lakes / streams.

Designed and built a fire pit area and six surrounding hillside benches for a church meeting area at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Wixom.

Repaired walls and the ceiling, replaced carpeting, and repainted sanctuary at St. Benedict Church in Pontiac.

Collected personal care articles, put them in a kit and handed them out to approx 150+ homeless people in Detroit.

Conducted a canned food drive for the Open Door Outreach Center and Food Pantry in the local community, collecting 2,165 pounds of food, plus additional cash and fresh meat for the pantry.

Conducted a book drive to create library and provide books for children to take as their own at the Ennis Shelter for abused women and children û collected over 6,000 books.

Cleaned up and improved the trails and river area at the Commerce Mill Race Park, and built entrance gates leading to the trails.

Raised funds and bought supplies for an animal shelter.

Researched, built, and sold over a dozen bat houses to promote awareness and conservation and put an additional three in several locations in Proud Lake Recreation Area.

Designed and constructed several park benches for the students at Oak Valley Middle School.

Constructed information displays on the CPT hiking trails at Proud Lake Rec on the local plant life and how they were used by the Indians.

Counted gypsy moth colonies for local community agencies for control / spraying requirements.
